Hemingway's quotation is taken from A Moveable Feast, in the story "Miss Stein Instructs".

Oblation:
1. the offering to God of the elements of bread and wine in the Eucharist.
2. the whole office of the Eucharist.
3. the act of making an offering, esp. to a deity.
4. any offering for religious or charitable uses.

Eulogy:
1. a speech or writing in praise of a person or thing, esp. a set oration in honor of a deceased person.

A word to you:
Given the essential importance of you for this strip project, I thought I ought to voice my thoughts. I am profoundly thankful to all of those who fav my work and introduce it to other people. Indeed, it is extremely difficult to start the snowball effect, and it is one thing I can't do on my own.

So, know that your promoting me, through features, through StumbleUpon, through pasting links, through telling your friends about this, everything, all of these are MOST appreciated by me and I want to make sure you know of my heartfelt gratitude for your precious help.

Please keep helping this strip! I won't forget you if this ever takes off. (As of now, the strip is not very popular at all, as I get less views than the average pair of boobs, but I think it can grow.) [Edit: At the time I wrote that, I got between 20 and 50 views per strip; this was before the DD.]

Another word to you, concerning the DD

Oh la la... I haven't even begun to read all those comments or thank you people for the favs! There are hundreds! It will take me time, but I will do it; I only ask for your kind patience.

I want to thank everyone involved in this project, whether you wrote comments, faved, or supported me in any way. I really appreciate it.

I'm at a loss for better words, but I am definitely glad to feel giddy like a teenager in love because of this DD. It feels nice.

More words of gratitude invidividually! Just you wait!

L.O.V.E. is a heartfelt series of comic, or rather "tragic", strips. Its topic is lost love, and it expresses feelings of a broken heart with an unforgiving sincerity. For those with a broken heart the little people of L.O.V.E. offer a macabre consolation. And for those who still have their love by their side, the strip works as a reminder: always appreciate the love you have -- it may be gone tomorrow. L.O.V.E. - 14 by ~ForgetfulRainn offers a really simple but honest line I think we all can feel identified with. (Suggested by =Lechtonen and Featured by ^Thiefoworld)

You've got one grateful fan here. :) I love this strip.

I'll try to feature it. Somehow.

Very powerful words. The strongest I have seen in a Web comic.

Thank you very much! The next one is ready, and it's probably the best I've made so far; although, as usual, what I think of my work rarely concords with what the audience thinks. We shall see.

Thank you sir! This goes straight to my little strained heart. If comments could be faved, I'd fav yours. If I ever get to promote my strip, I'll be sure to quote you! It sounds exactly like the sort of praise books get on their covers.

Thank you! :)
