Helsinki, Finland

Taken in May 2007, Helsinki, Finland, with a cheesy throw-away camera, developed by professionals, and then scanned by yours truly.

Left picture was taken in the Helsinki cemetery; right one in some place tourists usually don't go to.

I like how the vanishing points make a symmetry, and that wasn't planned, I meant to post these individually, but as a team they work better, methinks. Rural on the left, urban on the right; that'd be a good definition of Helsinki, which combines aspects of rural and urban life.

Make sure to notice the Finnish flag in the middle of the right photograph.
